Delete my account

This cannot be undone. Read what goes and what stays before you do it — they are not the same thing.

LAST UPDATED August 21, 2026

HOW TO DELETE IT

Open Fifty Fifty, go to Settings, tap “Delete my account”, type DELETE and confirm. It happens straight away: no waiting, and nobody has to approve it. You need neither an account nor an email to do it. If you cannot get into the app, write to myt.developers@gmail.com and it will be done for you. What stays has no expiry date: it lives as long as the group does, and goes with it when the last member leaves.

WHAT DISAPPEARS

Your name, your photo, your linked email and its password, and the notification tokens of every phone you have used. The account itself goes too: there is no signing back in, not even with the right password.

WHAT STAYS, AND WHY

The amounts you paid and the payments you recorded. They are half of somebody else’s balance: erasing the 200 you put in for dinner would erase what the other four owe, and their numbers would change without anyone telling them. In their screens you will read as a deleted account, with no name and no photo.
